How to use the new Bing search with artificial intelligence
Bing carries with it an injection of OpenAI's ChatGPT technology, transforming Microsoft's search engine into something capable of conducting a conversation.
The news was announced in aEvento Microsoft ChatGPTin February 2023, when company executives confirmed that OpenAI's next-generation chatbot technology will be integrated into Bing and Microsoft's Edge browsers. This comes after Microsoft invested billions in OpenAI to try to challenge Google's search dominance, which plans to launch its ownGoogle Bard-KIchatbot. There is also a paid version of ChatGPT calledChatGPT Plus, then the AI ​​chatbot race is about to heat up.

This could be the start of a new era of web search, where you tell your search engine what you want in a much more natural and intuitive way. However, to make the most of (and theChatGPT against google bardsituation) you need to know how to use this new technology effectively.
I got early access to the new Bing with ChatGPT from Microsoft, and after exploring it for a while, I'm ready to walk you through the process of getting the most out of Bing with ChatGPT.
How to access Bing with ChatGPT
Microsoft is initially rolling out access to the new Bing with ChatGPT to a very limited group of people, although as bugs are fixed it should become more widely available.
While you can access Bing from any browser, at the time of launch the only way to access Bing's new functionality with ChatGPT is to open it in Microsoft's Edge browser. Even if you do, you may (still) not have access to Bing with ChatGPT. How to register:
1.Openmicrosoft border(The fastest way is to tap theTo startand type "Edge" and then pressTo enter) and navigate towww.bing.com/nuevo.
2.blowGet on the waiting list.
3.Enter the email address and password associated with your Microsoft account when prompted.
And that is! Now is just wait. If you want to increase your chances of accessing Bing with ChatGPT, Microsoft recommends the following:
- Set Microsoft Edge as your default browser
- Download the Microsoft Edge app from the Microsoft Store
How to use Bing with ChatGPT
Once you start using Bing with ChatGPT, you'll quickly notice the difference as you'll get search results in a more conversational tone rather than just a list of links. You can see how Bing is analyzing your questions and finding answers, and you can refine your search by telling Bing what you think of the results.
Here, I'll show you how to use Bing with ChatGPT, walking you through the search process and some common follow-up decisions. note thatMicrosoft imposes restrictions on Bing(opens in new tab)to avoid annoying behavior that many users have noticed. You are limited to five chats per session and only 50 chats per day to avoid long chat sessions.
1.To use Bing with ChatGPT, point your web browser (which should be Edge for the foreseeable future).www.bing.comand type your question in the search box. For the purposes of this tutorial, I'm going to ask, “I'm traveling to Dublin in September. What should I do?"
2.If you have access to the new Bing with ChatGPT, you should see a chat window with your request as the opening line. Otherwise, you may need to clickChatat the top of the screen to put Bing into chat mode.
Once you've done that, you'll see how Bing has analyzed your request, and you can watch as it writes a live response. When you get tired, you can givestop answering"to tell him to stop.

3.This is where the big change really happens. Rather than clicking a link and continuing your search on your own, you can continue chatting with Bing to learn more or refine your search.
Of course, Microsoft wants you to keep using Bing, so it offers a set of suggested follow-up questions after each survey. For the purposes of this guide, I won't be using any of the tracks suggested by Bing. Instead, I'm thinking of catching some live shows as I travel, so I ask Bing, "What bands are playing Dublin in September?"
And that's it, Bing brings you a footnote list of bands playing Dublin in September, with links to information and suggestions on what to ask next. Hover over the answer and you will see thumbs up/thumbs down icons that you can click to tell Microsoft if the answer is good or bad. If you see something that requires more feedback, click the Feedback button in the bottom right corner and report it directly to Microsoft.
As you can see, this seemingly minor change in the way Bing works heralds a seismic upheaval in the search engine market. At its most basic level, Bing makes search more conversational with ChatGPT, but there's a lot of room to explore once you start pushing the boundaries of what ChatGPT's chatbot can do with the power of the entire internet at your fingertips.
